Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 8, 2026

At DevToolBox, your privacy is our top priority. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Data You Enter Into Our Tools

All DevToolBox tools run entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. The text, code, or data you input into any tool is never sent to our servers. It is processed locally on your device and remains there. We have no ability to access, view, store, or transmit the content you process with our tools.

2. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized usage data that helps us understand which tools are most popular and how visitors find our site. This data includes:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website or search engine
  • General geographic region (country/city level)
  • Browser type and device category (desktop/mobile)

Google Analytics does not collect any data you enter into our tools. We have configured Google Analytics with anonymized IP addresses and do not enable any advertising features.

3. Cookies

DevToolBox itself does not set any first-party cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by configuring your browser to block third-party cookies.

4. Advertising

We may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google AdSense may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. These advertising technologies do not have access to the data you enter into our tools.

5. Third-Party Services

Our website is hosted on Vercel and our domain is managed through Cloudflare. These services may collect standard server logs (IP address, request timestamp, page URL) as part of their normal operations. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies for details.

6. Data Retention

Since we do not collect or store any user-generated content, there is no user data to retain or delete. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention period (14 months) and is not personally identifiable.

7. Children's Privacy

DevToolBox is a general-purpose developer tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
